Monty - Welsh Mountain Pony Section A

Now at Rainbow Bridge

Sadly we found Monty in his field on 29 November 2002 - He was only 12 years old.  Such a short life for my special little pony.

Monty had been bought by a friend at a  horse sale to save him at the age of 4 months but then she found that at 6 months she could no longer care for him so she asked me to have him. He was a super little character who everyone loved. I had never had an unbroken pony before but he was handled all the time and he was so easy to get him used to a saddle and bridle - for a few years he was stabled at the local riding for the disabled school and the kids loved him to bits and he was so good with them. Robyn, the daughter of a friend of mine,  used to ride him regularly whilst there.

Very sadly missed but never forgotten
