The Cats

My cats are McTavish who was born in 1989. His official birthday is 30 April. I saw him in a pet shop and just could not leave him there. He is enormous as cats go - the size of a small dog and has never had a days illness in his life.

Rupert is the cat that I hand reared and his real name is Mooncat but he is a real Rupert. He thinks he is my baby and spends all his time sitting on my desk. Rupert was born in 1992 and his official birthday is 1 June

Suki is yet another rescue cat and I was adamant we were not having another cat - they so ruin all your furniture - but here she is 7 years later. She was born in 1999 and her official birthday is  9 November.

My cats are all house cats but they have their own house and run attached to our bungalow where they sleep and play in the day. Did I say play - cats sleep more than dogs.
